Branding and website design for health and safety consultancy

Hedges Health and Safety Consultancy, based in Shifnal, Shropshire, United Kingdom is run by husband and wife team, Andy & Lisa who offer health and safety support to small, medium and large businesses in the form of training, audit, retained services and gap analysis.

Prior to meeting Andy and Lisa their successful business had no brand identity. We initially set out designing the company’s new branding which soon progressed to include a full website design. Both partners were initially reluctant to embark on a website as they had previously attempted this in the past, Lisa explained “having tried to do this in the past. Plus a lot of others websites looked at just looked clunky and outdated and we didn’t want that.” However they could see the value for their business in having a professional digital presence “The logo, brand and design just allowed the website to flow effortlessly without too much work from us to keep it up to date. It looks professional and is simple. Just like the brand, the colours, everything the website really reflects us as a business” Lisa explained.

Lucy sent us the design ideas and it was the first one that she sent us, it perfectly summed up us and yet, as I mention before neither of us are visually artistic, but when she sent it across it absolutely made sense as our brand and logo.”

The new brand identity for Hedges has created a real impact for them and their business, “It creates excitement just putting on our own logo’d workwear, who would have though it would be exciting to wear a t shirt, a shirt, a jacket or PPE!! It has made us more proud of our business and just shows how far we have come in setting up the business. It makes us talk with more confidence and pride about what we do.” Lisa commented.

Andy also agreed, “Love our branding, it reflects who we are and I am proud to display it wherever I have the opportunity. It has made me feel as though the business has an identity.
